The Voice(s) of God

Keep talking!

I have heard two human speaking voices in person that surely were the voice of God. And my soul knew it instantly both times.

Maya Angelou and James Earl Jones.

The experiences were years apart. In both cases they were on stage, and I was in the audience. Also in both cases I hated to leave the theater as when Jesus’ disciple, Peter, couldn’t bring himself to leave the Mount of Transfiguration.
