I am not Roman Catholic, though with you and Bishop Pham around, my Baptist sensibilities (very few true Baptists remain in the world regardless of what people call themselves) get pretty nervous because of how close the two of you are to the teachings of Jesus in what you say and how you live.
Maybe you folks have a new dual membership plan by which I can be both Roman Catholic and Baptist, Baptist in a Roger Williams sort of way; if so, I’d definitely join up! Assuming you’ll eventually find a place for me (Oh! Part of my doctoral study in preaching was at a Roman Catholic Seminary! St Meinrad!), I’d like to see the resumption of active excommunication. JD Vance is an embarrassment to the Church and the nation, and he is a servant of evil! Such horrible PR!
