I was trying to find the closest Dick store. Get your mind out of the gutter.
I was trying to get to Dick’s Sporting Goods this afternoon to make a gift purchase for a family member’s upcoming birthday. I believe that Dick’s has reasonable DEI principles, and they certainly sell many sustainable products. So I thought it would be a safe zone.
I was kind of in a rush as I wasn’t sure what time the store closed so I did a quick search on my iPhone browser to get directions. I simply keyed in (while I waited briefly at a traffic light):

Well. I am happy to let all who want to know these kind of things know that the search results were a bit surprising although I guess I asked. The search results included:
US Senator Marsha Blackburn, Knoxville Office
National Fitness Center
A gay cruise-from-your-car site, a seedy park evidently, which noted, “off duty ICE agents welcome”
Knoxville Urological Physicians and Associates
